The story of a man, a truck, and a dream.

My father Dan Siracusa is 65 years old. He was barely admitted into CCSU at first because of grades. But someone took a chance on him and enrolled him in the university in New Britain CT. At CCSU he played 4 years of football and went on to attain a college degree. After his college days were over he invested into one truck and a team of movers and is now he one of if not the most successful individual to ever graduate from the university because that someone gave him an opportunity.

The biggest thing that impresses me with my father is no matter how successful he became his lifestyle never changed. He continued to feed tens of thousands of mouths through employment and charitable work. His focus was always the people rather than himself and now that I have witnessed a true American dream first hand I realize change within the environment and people is the answer not just the individual himself. Dans company has created many wavelenghths and lots pf opportunity for people of the state of CT and Siracusa Moving is well respected nationwide.

Consistency

Through 40 years in the moving industry and trucking industry Dan Siracusa remains humbled and is still the CEO of Siracusa Moving and Storage. It is here where he has not only impacted the town of New Britain but the state of CT as a whole. Button Up Connecticut which happened to be the largest coat drive in New England to help thousands of homeless people along with many other charitable events hosted by Siracusa Moving continued to happen and help impact the communnity and environment.

Sons Perspective

I Have seen Siracusa Moving and Storage become a nationwide company throughout my life and I can confidently say it has been not only motivating but inspiring to see the amount of lifes impacted because one man decided to get a truck and make a run for his dream business. Seems like a true american dream if I have ever seen one. Witnessing this much entrepreneurial pursuit at such a young age has caused lots of dreams and goals of mine that I would like to achieve within my own life as well.
